As soon as you are out of range, simulation takes over, increasing the resource usage. When transitioning to space alot of this simulation starts happening as you move out of render range of the debry. Note, it's normal and expected for Player.log to have some verbose stuff in it every time the game launches, and the scene changes, and it auto-saves every few minutes. If you find something there you want to keep, save a copy of Player.log before the next time you run the game or it will be lost. When you look there you only see messages from the most recent time you played (or the current time you are playing if the game is still running). Player.log is a file Unity programs write. Depending on what's causing this, log spam can diagnose the problem or, ironically, it can be the *cause* of the problem some times if the hard drive is slow and the game is trying to write log messages every animation frame. It may be useful to check in your Player.log file to see if there's messages spamming the log like 50 times a second.
